Guys, I know I post a lot of Adventure Time artwork. I just can't help myself! Seriously, I have such a backlog of great Adventure Time fan art, I'm pretty sure I'll never get caught up.

And as a bonus, here's Shael Riley and The Grammar Club's vocal mix of Zangief's stage music, Red Cyclone. I think I'm going to make an effort to post more geek rock and nerdcore songs here, now that I've discovered that Google has a secret, built-in music player.

Showcase: Cartoony Consoles by AmazingTrout

You know what I don't love? Those caricature drawings sold by artists on boardwalks, where they take famous people and distort their most prominent features. To me, they're like the visual art equivalent of puns: trying to get a laugh in the cheapest way possible (side note: I don't hate puns, but you have to admit they're the exact opposite of high-concept humour.)

And yet somehow, when that same principle is applied to videogame consoles, my monocle pops out and I find myself heartily approving. Click the link below to check out more of AmazingTrout's console artwork, including the Sega Game Gear and Atari Lynx.

It's been a while since I did one of these, but being as how it's October and I've been reading a lot of Lovecraft lately, today feels like the Cthulhuyest of Cthursdays.

Triptych: My Neighbor DEATH

"Protect The Forest" (t-shirt) by Baznet

"My Neighbor Frank The Bunny" (t-shirt) by Dann Matthews

"My Neighbor Toroto" by Fernando Fro Reza

Fernando Fro Reza has been making posters based on popular movie theories. The above theory is, as described by redditor TopHatDuck, as follows:

"The rumor says that Totoro is the God of Death, so the persons that can see Totoro are actually close to death, or already dead. What that means for the story is that when Mei goes missing and a sandal is found in the pond, Mei actually drowned. When Satsuki is asked about the sandal she cannot face the truth and lies about it not being Mei's sandal. So Satsuki goes on a desperate search for Totoro, calling for him and actually opens up the door to the realm of the dead herself."

This actually makes so much sense, I can't believe it never occurred to me before.
